1 · OverviewSafer roadside stops, built for the South
A go-to-market plan for state and local agencies across the Southern United States.
CO-SYNE gives every roadside stop a verified start: the driver knows the officer is real and on duty, the officer knows who is in the car and how best to communicate, and both share one record that no one can quietly change.
2 · The problemEvery stop starts with uncertainty on both sides of the window
- Drivers can't verify the officer. There is no reliable way, in the moment, to confirm that the person approaching is a real officer who is on duty.
- Officers approach blind. They don't know who is inside, or whether the driver has a disability or language need that changes how to communicate.
- Records are fragmented. Paper citations, radio traffic and separate systems leave gaps, and gaps erode trust after the fact.
3 · The platformOne verified handshake connects driver, officer and dispatch
| Component | What it does |
|---|---|
| Driver app | Stop alert, verified officer card, video or text with the officer, eCitation and payment. |
| Officer terminal | QR sticker or plate scan, stop workflow, eCitations and reports. |
| Dispatch | Live map, drop-in three-way video, stop history. |
| Main Admin | Agencies, devices, credentials and the signed, tamper-evident ledger. |
Credentials are Ed25519 keys bound to each device; every event is written to a hash-chained, signed ledger. The apps install on phones, laptops and desktops.
4 · Where we areBuilt, live and demonstrable today
- Three apps and the Main Admin are live at iobeacons.com/cosyne and installable from Downloads.
- An end-to-end stop works in demonstration: sticker scan, mutual verification, video, eCitation, sealed report and dispatch oversight.
- The Tulsa, Oklahoma pilot is in preparation.
- The state and local go-to-market plan is drafted: read the market strategy.
Records checks and payments are simulated until state integrations are in place.
5 · Why the SouthLong corridors, growing states, a culture of regional cooperation
Southern states are growing fast, and long interstate corridors (I-10, I-20, I-35, I-40, I-75 and I-95) carry drivers across agency and state lines every day. The region has a strong culture of cooperation among sheriffs, state public safety departments and regional associations.
6 · Expansion13 states in four waves
In each wave we start with one anchor agency per state, then add the state credential partner.
7 · SequencingEach wave unlocks the next. Gates are evidence, not dates.
