These terms apply when you use iobeacons.com, IoBeacons Maps and the IoBeacons API (together, "the service"). By using the service you agree to them. If you use it for an organisation, you agree on its behalf.
Your account
Keep your password safe and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens in your workspace and for the people you invite.
Free trial and plans
New workspaces get a free trial. After it ends you can choose a paid plan. Paid plans renew until cancelled. If you cancel, your workspace stays available until the end of the period you paid for. Plan limits and features are shown in Maps.
Your content
You own the data you put into the service. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to run the service for you. You must have the right to upload it, and to track any device or person you track.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service to break the law, stalk or harass anyone, or track people without the consent the law requires.
- Do not try to break, overload or get around the security or limits of the service.
- Do not resell the service without an agreement with us.
Third-party data
Catalog layers, basemaps and satellite positions come from public and third-party sources. They are provided as they are and may be late, incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on them alone for safety-critical decisions, emergency response or navigation.
Availability
We work to keep the service running but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may change features over time and will give notice of changes that significantly affect paid plans.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, IoBeacons is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. You can export your layers before your workspace is closed.
